The 842 SD is a type of electronic rework station sold by the Ersa Company. This station is a soldering and desoldering system which is available in either a manual or automated configuration. It is primarily used for desoldering and soldering of surface mount components. It features a touch screen interface and a vacuum to assist with the removal of components. The system has a maximum temperature of 240°C and a maximum pressure of 4 bars and can be used with various tip tools, such as a soldering iron, hot air blower, or suction gun. The 842 SD is designed to produce high-quality soldering and desoldering results with minimal operator training.
