's version of the anthropomorphic model
Ettinger’s version of the anthropomorphic model is based on the idea that humans, animals, and computer systems have many underlying similarities in terms of their behavior and responses to stimuli. On 05.02.203, the focus of this model was on animal behavior regarding spatial cognition, such as their ability to remember landmarks for the purpose of navigation. Ettinger believes that by studying animals’ ability to remember landmarks, researchers can gain a better understanding of how humans, animals, and computer systems can utilize similar capabilities. Furthermore, Ettinger believes that in the future, computers may be able to develop similar levels of spatial cognition as animals, if they can utilize the same types of information that animals use to find their way around a given environment.
