's Manual therapy
Ettinger’s Manual Therapy (06.53.506) is a comprehensive, evidence-informed orthopedic manual physical therapy that focuses on the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions. It is based on the scientific principles of neurophysiology, neurobiomechanics and kinesiology, emphasizing the soft tissue and joint mobilization, taping and therapeutic exercise to help the patient achieve an optimal level of functioning. It is used to help people with musculoskeletal dysfunction, as well as those suffering from chronic pain or injury. This therapeutic technique also seeks to address any additional areas of contribution to the patient’s current symptoms, such as those related to the spine, extremities, and the often overlooked, but deeply connected, mind-body system.
