EP 1: This is the first part of the EUROPOWER series and it focuses on the European Union and its member states. It looks at the origins, formation and evolution of the Union, its institutional framework, the EU’s economic, political and social policies and the various challenges facing its member states today.
EP 2: This part of the EUROPOWER series covers the processes of European integration during the Cold War and the post-Cold War period. It examines the various forms of cooperation between European countries, the institutions that have been used to promote this cooperation and the success and failures of these partnerships in achieving European integration.
EP 3: This part of the EUROPOWER series explores the European Union’s relations with non-EU countries, particularly in the context of European enlargement. It looks at the development of the European Neighbourhood Policy, the enlargement process, the various agreements between the EU and its neighbours and the impact of regional cooperation initiatives.
EP 4: This part of the EUROPOWER series looks at issues of security and defence within the European Union and the ways in which it has responded to the recent security challenges. It examines the Common Foreign and Security Policy, the Common Security and Defence Policy, the role of the Member States in the European security architecture and the changing security landscape in the region.
EP 5: This part of the EUROPOWER series examines the impact of technological change on the European Union, focusing on the development and use of information and communications technologies (ICT), the potential for digital innovation, and the implications of the digital economy for the EU and its member states.
EP 6: This is the final part of the EUROPOWER series and it provides a comprehensive overview of the European Union, exploring its internal and external dynamics, the role of its institutions and the policies it pursues. It examines the EU’s experience in responding to global crises, the development of its economic powers, and the challenges the Union faces in the future.
