The EA3059C is a battery management system from Everanalog. It is a low power, high performance, quad-channel power management integrated circuit (PMIC), in a 4mm*4mm QFN-24 package, with the lead-free/RoHS compliant. This battery management IC provides protection and monitoring of multiple battery cells. It features four key protection functions (over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-current protection, and over-temperature protection). The monitoring capabilities allow for early detection of battery faults, which can help to improve system performance and protect against system damage. The device also features automatic charging over-voltage protection, ESD protection on the input pins, programmable current limit, user selectable high/low gain current sensing and outputs for charging control signals.
