The EX050-V1 is a single-cell battery protection IC designed by Excel Cell Electronic (ECE) to provide a safe and reliable operation of a single-cell lithium ion or lithium polymer battery. The chip offers over-temperature protection, under-voltage protection, over-voltage protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, and charge/discharge management. It comes in an SOT-23 package and has an integrated Power-Saving Mode for improved efficiency.
