The RG600-16 part of the Excel Cell Electronic (ECE) is a compact and high-speed 16-bit Microcontroller with a RISC architecture. It offers a high-end 16-bit instruction set and is capable of running up to 50 million instructions per second. It is also capable of operating on a wide range of operating voltages and can run complex functions and routines with a small amount of code. The device has several input/output peripherals, including a 2KB array of RAM, 384 bytes of OTP memory, two 16-bit timers, two 16-bit counters, two UARTs, four channels of 10-bit A/D converters, and a Watchdog and interrupt controllers that allow for efficient multitasking.
