The Fastron MICC-150K-02 is an inductive proximity sensor, designed to provide a non-contact method to detect, measure, and monitor the presence of metallic objects. It has a cylindrical housing measuring 12 mm in diameter and 5 mm in length, with a sensing distance of 3–20 mm. It is constructed from stainless steel and contains an integrated magnet, consisting of core material, a winding, and a voltage/current source. The MICC-150K-02 provides both a linear and a bipolar output, with switching frequencies of up to 500 Hz and a resolution of ±1 mm. It is rated for temperatures from -25°C to 80°C, with a standard operating voltage of 10–28 V DC. The MICC-150K-02 is IP67 rated, meaning that it is protected from dust, dirt and liquids and is suitable for operating in difficult and harsh environments.
