The FP6185-28S5 is a Low Dropout (LDO) regulator produced by Fitipower and is housed in a RoHS compliant SOT23-5 surface-mounted package. This regulator features a fixed output voltage of 28 V and offers an excellent line regulation, 0.2%. It has a tight load regulation, providing a low output impedance of 100mV, typically, over its full load current range. Additionally, it has a fast output voltage transient response, making it ideal for applications requiring fast load transient response, such as video cameras, camcorders, and digital still cameras. It also has a low current quiescent operation with an operating current of only 100 µA. Its ripple rejection performance is also excellent and it offers an extended temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.
