Additional Infomation About Product

ElectronicsThe 1812-150 with Discharge Tubes (GDT/TSS) 1812 RoHS, manufactured by FTR Electronics, is a series of high-voltage protection devices for electrical systems and telecommunications equipment. This unit helps limit the voltage across protected components and prevents power arcing across sensitive pathways. It is comprised of two metal oxide varistors connected directly across a spark gap similar to that of a small light bulb. These varistors reduce the voltage when it exceeds a specified level and limit the flow of current to protect circuitry and increase its efficiency. The spark gap helps to quickly extinguish sparks created by the varistors and neutralize potential charges. This product is RoHS compliant.
