The GS1011MIP13-100 is a module from the Gainspan family of Wi-Fi modules. It provides a cost-effective, integrated IEEE 802.11b/g/n solution, optimized to enable end-device- based IoT products with low performance, low-power, and low complexity requirements. The GS1011 is a low-power Wi-Fi radio that supports 802.11b/g/n with an on-board Wi-Fi network processor. It features integrated firmware with a medium access controller (MAC) as well as a management plane controller that provides an efficient, compliant, and reliable Wi-Fi access point interface. The module also features an integrated Security MAC, security enhancement features, provides integrated WEP and WPA/WPA2 security protocols, is allowed through certification to radio certifications with the FCC, Canada IC, ETSI, and Japan telecommunication divisions, offers integrated Bluetooth 2.1 support, and integrated on-chip antenna integration.
