GS2011MIE-5 is an IEEE 802.15.4-based System on Module (SoM) designed by Gainspan Corporation. It is based on the GS2011M Chipset and is designed for IoT (Internet of Things) applications. The module provides onboard 128-bit encryption, authentic security, and support for a wide range of industrial and medical protocols. The module has an embedded local processor running at 40MHz, 32KB of SRAM, 32MB of flash memory, and various analog I/O pins to support applications like motion detection and temperature sensing. The module also includes two UARTs, SPI, I2C and JTAG for connection. Additionally, the module is compatible with the Winsen Zigbee 3.0 stack and 802.15.4 MAC layer, making it an ideal choice for short range and ultra-low power wireless mesh networking.
