The GS2100M-PGM1 is a Software Programmable Module made by Gainspan, which combines both a microcontroller and Wi-Fi connectivity. This module is a low power, low cost, low footprint solution for wireless connectivity applications. It features a Gainspan GS2000m2 Wi-Fi stack, 8 MByte of flash memory, 32 KByte of SRAM, a low power MCU, multiple analog and digital peripherals, and a low power RF transceiver. It has a UART, SPI, and I2C interface for applications requiring a serial interface to communicate with the module, as well as a JTAG and GPIO interface for debug purposes. The GS2100M-PGM1 can be used as a stand-alone Wi-Fi solution, or in combination with other products to create a complete connected device.
