Gianta is a town located in the northeastern part of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. BS19 is an area within Gianta, specifically a small part of Purok Sinamay, Barangay Bolohon. This area is known for its vast green fields stretching across the horizon. There are several local businesses, like a meat shop, grocery, and carinderia. Its residents are predominantly Made-madehanon and Subanon people, belonging to the indigenous tribe of the area. The scenery and laid-back atmosphere create an ideal environment for agriculture and livestock production. The climate is hot and dry during the months of April to June, making it the prime time for harvesting various cash crops such as corn, peanuts, and mung beans. Other common activities done in the locality include fishing, gathering honey, and hunting game.
