12-577 is a galvanized steel grounding clamp that can be used to firmly connect a grounded metallic conductor to a standard threaded rod. It has a solid drop forged steel construction and is designed to make a secure, vibration-resistant connection without distortion. It is also designed to operate easily in confined or hard to reach areas. The clamp has a serrated jaw that can accommodate various sizes of rods. The jaw opening on the clamp is adjustable to fit a variety of rods and other materials. It is also self-locking, allowing for the easy locking and unlocking of the clamp. Additionally, this 12-577 clamp features a “U Bracket” style that helps secure a standard #10-32 screw or bolt, while maintaining a dielectric seal between the ground conductor and the rod.
