The Gel Mec GVD-1016-40 is a two component low pressure structural polyurethane foam that is used to fill cavities and provide thermal and sound insulation. The product is supplied in two parts - a liquid part A and a hardening agent (catalyst) part B. When mixed together, the two parts create a single component system that cures to a semi-rigid foam with an excellent thermal, vibration, and sound-damping performance. The foam has a density of 40 kg/m3. The foam has good adhesion properties, even for a low pressure foam, which allows it to bond to the substrates of the cavity or enclosure. The foam provides a strong and durable foam filling that can be applied to walls, floors, roofs and other surfaces. The foam is suitable for a wide range of applications including industrial, commercial and residential insulation.
