1770-1634 Glenair is the oldest part of the Glenair conservation area, located on the northwest tip of Toronto Island. It is known for its picturesque landscape, with rolling hills, forests and meadows, as well as its variety of wildlife. The area has been protected by the City of Toronto since the late 1800s, and is home to several species of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. It is also home to over 80 species of indigenous plants, some of which are unique to this part of the island. The surrounding waters include a variety of fish, and there are also plenty of areas to explore by boat, canoe or kayak.
