The GSS14 is a SMA(DO-214AC) RoHS device manufactured by GREENPOWER. It is a four-terminal device that contains four Schottky Barrier Diodes (SBD). It is designed for the purpose of protecting a circuit from overvoltage or surge currents. The four diodes are securely mount to the device's package and ensure a low forward voltage drop. The SBDs have a soft-recovery characteristic, allowing the transient voltage and current to be quickly discharged without creating harmful voltage spikes or ringing.
