The 1554MPB6 is a Hammond Power Center dubbed a "RFI/EMI filter transformer." It is designed to reduce noise on any AC power line, providing a measure of power line conditioning and EMI/RFI interference reduction. It provides a low impedance, electrostatically shielded line isolation barrier with two separate copper foil shields, one each on the incoming and outgoing power lines. The device is equipped with a see-through, yellow ABS plastic housing body which conceals all of the connections and filter components for protection against dust, heat, and moisture. The 1554MPB6 has a unique, high-frequency transformer design that is effective at suppressing power-line noise over a range of 1 MHz to 100 MHz. The 1554MPB6 is UL, CSA, and NOM certified and contains 12 IEC 320 outlets with a maximum current rating of 30 Amps. It features a power LED indicator, ground/line fault LED indicator, and an illuminated off/on switch.
