The 1554R2GY is a wall mount enclosure from the Hammond Manufacturing Company, which is designed to house electrical components. The enclosure is made of 16-gauge steel and is painted light gray to provide protection from corrosion. The enclosure door is 20.18” x 8.43” and is made of a single sheet of steel. It features two cam-action hinges with 90 degree stay-open action. The interior of the enclosure has four knockouts and one punched square hole for mounting a back panel. The enclosure also has an integrated channel for mounting mounting DIN rails for lugging and mounting other components. The enclosure meets the requirements of NEMA Type 12, 13, and IP54.
