J1192-8 is a harbour located in northern Taiwan. It is situated off of the east coast of Taiwan, near the port town of Hualien. The harbour consists of a sheltered deepwater bay, providing calm and secure anchorage for ships and other vessels. The harbour is equipped with a number of wharves of varied lengths, offering harbour complete with dockage, fuel, and repair services. In addition to waterside, J1192-8 also features copious landside services such as storage and convenience stores; food, medical, and leisure services; and waste collection and disposal services, as well as warehouses and manufacturing centers. The harbour is also home to a vibrant local community, with a plethora of businesses and cultural amenities, including the Hualien City Hall, a movie theatre, and a number of parks, among other attractions.
