, also known as part number 309-20959, consists of a flexible, non-halogenated polyolefin tubing that offers insulation, strain relief and environmental protection. The tubing is designed to fit tightly around wires or other items when heated, providing increased protection and a higher pullout strength compared to other methods such as wraps, ties or tapes. The product has an integrated, 2 to 1 shrink ratio and will shrink up to 40% of its supplied diameter when placed into hot air. The thermal shrink temperature for this product is 135°C (+/- 10°C). It is resistant to spores, fungus and mildew, and has a UL flame rating of VW-1. The product is suitable for use in electrical applications with voltage up to 600Volts and can be used as a method of insulation and a strain relief for cables, connections and splices. The tubing has a white colored finish once fully shrunk and will not change color over time.
