TYPICAL ENVIRONMENTAL RESISTANCE Cured for 1 week 22 C ,Activator 7387 on1 side Where aqueous washing systems are used to cleanthe Lap Shear Strength, ISO 4587: surfaces before bonding,it is important to check for Mildsteel (grit blasted) : compatibility of the washing solution with the adhesive. In 0.25mm gap some cases these aqueous washes canaffectthe cure and performance ofthe adhesive. Hot Strength Directions for use: Tested at temperature 1. For best performance bondsurfaces should be cleanand 100 free from grease . 2. To ensure a fast andreliablecure, Activator 7387 or 75 7386 should be applied to oneofthe bondsurfaces and the adhesive to the other surface. Parts should be assembled within15minutes . 50 3. The recommended bondlinegap is 0.1mm. Where bond gaps are large (up to a maximum of 0.5mm), or faster cure speed is required, Activator 7387 or 7386 should 25 be applied to both surfaces. Product should be allowed to develop fullstrength before subjecting to any service loads (typically 24 to 72 hours after assembly, dependingonbond gap, materials and Heat Aging ambient conditions). Aged at temperature indicatedandtested 22 C LMS Loctite Material Specification LMS dated March -11,1996. Test reports for each batch are 125 availablefor the indicatedproperties. LMS test reports include selected QC test parameters considered appropriate to 100 specificationsfor customer use. Additionally,comprehensive controls are inplace to assure product quality and 75 consistency.
