The HX6009A is a PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) battery management SOP-8 RoHS (Reachable Substance Hazardousness) manufactured by HEXIN. The HX6009A is a general purpose PMIC designed to monitor and regulate energy sources including Li-Ion batteries. It provides adjustable overvoltage, overcurrent, and over temperature protection as well as well balanced charge and discharge control. The HX6009A offers a wide range operating voltage range of 4.0V to 18V with over temperature protection up to 150°C. It offers high current output up to 5A as well as adjustable charge current, discharge current, and trickle charge current. It also features an embedded clock generator for synchronizing and delivering constant current for battery charging. The HX6009A also has several protection mechanisms such as open circuit protection, charge over current protection, and over voltage protection. In addition, it provides a low standby current consumption of 0.9mA in the main mode. Finally, it is RoHS compliant and offers a SOP-8 package.
