Available System
ED-1-3-241 is a system redundancy method used to keep a system highly available. It is a three-node active/active/standby configuration that combines redundant communication paths, redundant data storage, and redundant server hardware components. This method utilizes hot-standby servers, in which a single server is used for both active and standby operations. The servers are synchronized, so that should one server fail, the other will take up the load. Meanwhile, the third node, the standby one, runs a constantly updated backup to ensure recovery from serious disasters.
