The MLSWS100/1BL is a 10/100 Mbps* Multi-Layer Switch from Hirschmann, designed for ultra-fast data transmission in industrial environments. It features both unmanaged as well as managed features in a robust IP30 package, making it ideal for use in harsh environments. It has 4 auto-sensing Fast Ethernet ports, 2 SFP slots for optical ports, and one RS232 console port. The switch also has several management features such as SNMP and SSH, a web-based management interface, and the ability to configure and monitor via text messages. It also has several power-saving features such as port shutdown and link down timeouts, as well as support features such as IGMP snooping, snmp filtering, and DOS attack prevention.
