The HT24LC04 is an Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) chip manufactured by Holtek, and comes in a dual in-line package (DIP-8) that can be easily integrated into a variety of applications. The chip has a capacity of up to 4Kb (512 x 8 bits) of non-volatile memory. It is designed to be used as a high-performance, low-voltage memory component which supports I2C communication protocol. The chip has a wide Operating Voltage Range of 1.8V to 5.5V, and Ultra-Low Power Consumption Mode of 1 µA for standby. Additionally, it is RoHS compliant and comes with a 10-year operating life.
