The HT24LC08 is a 8K-bit (1K x 8) Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) manufactured by Holtek. It is available in an 8-pin Surface-mount Package (SOP-8_150mil), which is designed to comply with the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. This device features a two-wire I2C-bus Interface that ensures reliable communication while in operation. The HT24LC08 is capable of over 100,000 Programming/Erase Cycles per Block. Its low-power circuitry allows for programming and erasure operations while consuming very low current.This EEPROM is suitable for various applications that require non-volatile storage of small amounts of data such as in home appliances, consumer electronics, and industrial control equipment.
