The HT7939A-2 is a small, RoHS-compliant LED driver chip manufactured by Holtek. It is designed for use in a variety of LED lighting applications, such as driving multiple backlight LED's in LCD displays. The chip is packaged in an SOT23-6 package and has three integrated channels, allowing it to independently control up to three LEDs. It features programmable output current, low start-up voltage, and fast response time. The chip also features integrated overvoltage, thermal shutdown and short-circuit protection.
