Additional Infomation About Product

The 14D470K with Varistors 38V 93V 1KA Through Hole RoHS manufactured by Hongzhi is a four-terminal varistor designed to protect electronic devices from voltage transients and spikes. It contains two discs stacked together with a dielectric layer between them. The discs contain a metal oxide material and when a voltage spike occurs, the metal oxide material blocks the surge creating a low impedance path for current to be conducted safely away from the protected circuit. This varistor has a radial lead configuration with an outside diameter of 4.7mm and is made to meet RoHS standards. It has a clamping voltage of 38V with a maximum peak pulse current of 1KA and a maximum peak power dissipation of 93V.
