The HTP-15-TPE is a high temperature polyethylene polymer produced by HT Hi Tech Polymers Oy. This thermoplastic elastomer can be used in a variety of applications, ranging from automotive and construction to energy, sanitary and medical. Its specialty is its strength and toughness in areas that require flexible materials, while providing more structural strength than other polyethylene materials. This material is ideal for use in medical and food-grade applications, due to its resistance to many acids and enzymes. It also resists hydrolysis and is non-toxic. With its light weight and high-tensile strength, this material can be used for components and applications where cost is a priority. The temperature range for HTP-15-TPE is -20°C to +120°C, making it perfect for hot and cold environments. It has excellent thermal stability, which makes it reliable even under extreme changes in temperature. This material also offers excellent oil resistance and good electrical properties.
