The CM1006-LCD with DFN (1.9x1.6) Battery Management ICs ROHS are manufactured by iCM and are designed for controlling the charging process in a Li-ion or Lithium-Ion battery, as well as protecting the battery from damage due to over-charging, short circuits, or deep discharging. The ICs are RoHS compliant, and integrate an LCD panel controller, two FETs for charging and discharging, a one channel comparator, and an ultra low power MCU core. The ICs have built-in hardware limiters for overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuit protection that automatically shuts down the IC in case of any of these conditions. The ICs also have low power operation and low quiescent current for extending the battery life. The ICs are characterized by operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC.
