The CM1112-GAE with DFN2.2x2.9-6L Battery Management ICs ROHS manufactured by iCM is an integrated circuit designed to manage the performance of lithium-ion rechargeable battery systems. It has four primary functions, charge, discharge, protection and communication, and these functions are orchestrated by simple, easy-to-use software commands. The integrated circuit contains an advanced, switch-mode power supply for battery charging and a high voltage, low-power circuit for discharging the battery, while providing comprehensive under-voltage lock-out and over-voltage protection. It also features multiple protection levels that guard against fault conditions such as over-temperature, reverse voltage, short circuits and over-discharge. Finally, the integrated circuit also provides high-speed communication and control capabilities through I2C, SPI, UART and other interfaces.
