Head Removal Detection Function All HS5D models are equipped with Head Removal Detection Function. When the head is removed, such as when the head is rotated, the main circuit (11-12) turns OFF. HS5D-12 When the actuator is removed or inserted, the operation of the main circuits (11-12, 21-22) are the same. How- ever, when the head is removed, disparity is detected (11-12: OFF, 21-22: ON). The disparity of the contacts detects the removal of the head.
