The Igus A181SM-4044-40 is a wear resistant, low friction drylin linear bearing. It is designed for use in medical and food technology applications, as well as in machine building. The linear bearing consists of two thermoplastic protective shells, which shield the plug-in connections from dirt and humidity. The bearing has a self-cleaning effect due to the small, finely punched holes in the surfaces of the frames. Inside, an oil-free, permanently lubricated, maintenance-free roller bearing ensures a high degree of maneuverability and offers extremely low friction coefficients when friction partners simultaneously move in opposite directions. The running surfaces have been precision-ground and polished to a high quality level and ensure low noise operation. The linear bearing offers high abrasion resistance, low noise operation, and high cycle life of more than 50,000 km in normal operation.
