TDIA stands for the Travel and Tourism Digital Information Architecture. This is a part of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) which focuses on enhancing information sharing, collaboration, and capacity-building in the travel and tourism industry, in order to improve the travel experience for visitors. The TDIA consists of several components, such as a system of business processes and best practices; a set of international standards and guidelines for travel, tourism, and hospitality data exchange; and networks of data and information providers such as airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and transportation services. The TDIA also promotes the development of digital infrastructure related to travel and tourism, in order to enable seamless and secure data exchange. TDIA is part of IMO’s strategy to facilitate cross-border tourism and make crossing borders easier for both leisure and business travelers.
