It is designed for use in voice/audio capturing applications such as handsfree headsets, Bluetooth modules, mobile phones, digital video cameras, portable media players, and CCTV surveillance CCTV cameras. It has a flat frequency response from 100 Hz to 10 kHz and is sensitive enough to capture speech and audio as low as -40 dBV. It also has a temperature compensation feature to maintain optimal sound quality in varying temperatures. It is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and lead free, meaning it meets the EU directives for the removal of toxic hazardous substances from consumer goods.
