IS31AP2111 220W STEREO/140W MONO DIGITAL (I2S) AUDIO AMPLIFIER WITH 20 BANDS EQ FUNCTIONS August 2021 GENERAL DESCRIPTION FEATURES The IS31AP2111 is a digital I2S interface audio 16/18/20/24-bits input with I2S, Left-alignment and amplifier capable of driving a pair of 8 speakers at Right-alignment data format 20W when operating from a 24V supply. Due to its PSNR & DR (A-weighting) Class-D output drive stage it can operate without an speaker: 99dB (PSNR), 104dB (DR) 24V external heat-sink or fan. Multiple sampling frequencies (FS) The IS31AP2111 integrates advanced audio - 32kHz / 44.1kHz / 48kHz and processing capabilities, such as volume control, 20 - 64kHz / 88.2kHz / 96kHz and bands speaker EQ, audio mixing, 3D surround and - 128kHz / 176.4kHz / 192kHz Dynamic Range Control (DRC). These functions are System clock = 64x, 128x, 192x, 256x, 384x, fully programmable via a simple I2C control interface. 512x, 576x, 768x, 1024x Fs Robust protection circuits are provided to protect the - 64x~1024x FS for 32kHz / 44.1kHz / 48kHz IS31AP2111 from damage due to accidental or - 64x~512x FS for 64kHz / 88.2kHz / 96kHz erroneous operating conditions. Because of its digital - 64x~256x FS for 128kHz / 176.4kHz / 192kHz design, the IS31AP2111 is more tolerant to noise and Supply voltage PVT (Process, Voltage, and Temperature) variation - 3.3V for digital circuit than the analog Class-AB or Class-D audio amplifier - 10V~26V for speaker driver counterpart. It has a robust anti-pop circuit for pop free speaker output power at 24V operation during power ON. It integrates protection features for short circuit and over temperature. - 10W 2CH into 8 0.24% THD+N for stereo - 20W 2CH into 8 0.38% THD+N for stereo The IS31AP2111 is available in a thermally enhanced - 40W 1CH into 4 0.12% THD+N for mono eTSSOP-24 package.
