IS31FL3739 88/79 MATRIX LED DRIVER January 2021 GENERAL DESCRIPTION FEATURES The IS31FL3739 is a general purpose 88 or 79 Supply voltage range: 2.7V to 5.5V matrix LED driver programmed via a 1MHz I2C bus 8 current sinks compatible interface. Each LED can be dimmed Support 8n (n=1~8), 79 LED matrix individually with 8-bit PWM data, and each CSx has configurations 8-bit DC current scaling for color calibration. The Individual 256 PWM control steps combination enables 256 steps of linear PWM dimming 256 DC current steps for each CSx for each dot and 256 steps of DC current adjustment 64 global current steps for each CSx. SDB rising edge resets the I2C interface Additionally, the open or short state of each LED can be Register programmable PWM frequency detected and stored in Open-Short Registers. The - 0.25kHz to 80kHz MCU can then read the Open-Short Registers via the 1MHz I2C-compatible interface I2C bus and identify which LED in the array is open or short.
