IS32FL3209 18 CHANNELS LED DRIVER 1/24 DC SCALING WHITE BALANCE January 2020 GENERAL DESCRIPTION FEATURES IS32FL3209 is comprised of 18 constant current 2.7V to 5.5V supply channels each with independent PWM control, Each channel output current up to 78mA designed for driving LEDs, PWM frequency can be I2C interface, automatic address increment 29kHz (default) or 4kHz. The output current of each function channel can be set at up to 78mA (Max.) by an external Four selectable I2C addresses resistor and independently scaled by a factor of 1, Internal reset register 23/24, 22/24, 21/22, 20/24, 19/24, 18/24, 16/24, 14/24, Modulate LED brightness with 256 steps PWM 12/24, 11/24, 9/24 and 7/24.The average LED current of each channel can be changed in 256 steps by Each channel can be controlled independently changing the PWM duty cycle through an I2C interface. LED+ Note 2: V is the high level voltage for IS32FL3209, which is usually same as V of Micro Controller, e.g. if V of Micro Controller is 3.3V, IH CC CC V =3.3V. If V =5V and V is lower than 2.8V, recommend to add a level shift circuit for SDA and SCL. IH CC IH Note 3: A 0.1F capacitor is necessary for passing the EFT test. Note 4: These optional resistors are for offloading the thermal dissipation (P=I2R) away from the IS32FL3209 (values are for V =5V).
