The 8097SBP part of the JKL series is a heavy-duty, three-phased safety disconnect switch suitable for use in industrial or hazardous locations. This switch is designed to be mounted directly onto a panel, wall, or machine and has a single-acting, spring-return mechanism for automatic operation. This switch is rated for both electrical and mechanical endurance, allowing it to withstand up to 600 operations per hour in temperatures as low as -40°C. This switch also has an adjustable contact gap and various options for control devices, such as a manual override, a spring shaft mechanism, a pilot lamp, and a nameplate. Furthermore, the 8097SBP switch is UL and IEC certified, and features a water-resistant enclosure to protect against water ingress.
