A9C9JKL is a combination of three separate systems. The first two systems, C9A and JKL, are two air traffic control systems used to manage and control aircraft during take-off, landing and taxiing on the ground. C9A provides aircraft operators with the latest information about the real-time status of all aircraft in the airspace, including flight plans, altitude and speed. JKL is used to manage the airspace, including assigning and coordinating departure and arrival times for aircraft flights, and managing flight routing and traffic separation. Combined, these two systems ensure the smooth and safe movement of air traffic within the airspace.
