P278CP683M480A is a safety capacitor manufactured by Kemet. It is a Kemet PI-CAP™ ceramic capacitors with a capacitance of 0.683µF and an operating voltage rating of 480VAC. The capacitor is designed to provide ESD protection, while providing a decrease in the effective leakage growth rate of EMI filter and DC applications. This capacitor has a P278 case size, which features a wider radial temperature range and higher insulation resistance than other similar sized capacitors. The P278CP683M480A also has a safety cap to help meet required safety standards for use in medical and industrial applications.
