The T494A106K010AT is a solid SMD 10V 10uF 1206 10% ESR=1.8ohms tantalum capacitor manufactured by Kemet. It is designed for use in high-speed digital circuits, providing high capacitance and low equivalent series resistance (ESR). The construction consists of a low-inductance tantalum powder dielectric, an anode and cathode layer made of a Tantalum pentoxide film, an electrolyte of acid-filled organic solvent, and leadframes for electrical connectivity. This design ensures excellent temperature stability and polarity, which helps reduce EMI/RFI and distortion of signals near resonance points. The capacitor also provides reliable operation and long operating life.
