The KP3116SGA is a PMIC (Power Management IC) Power Distribution Switch, which is packaged in a 8-pin SOP (Small Outline Package) and is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. It is manufactured by KIWI.
This IC enables three-power-channel configurations with two sourcing and one sink or three independent sourcing channels. It is designed to switch high side voltages up to at least 25V for typical automotive applications, while providing a maximum load current of 3A. The chip uses an internal charge pump to drive the FETs, and it is protected with overtemperature, undervoltage, and short circuit protection. This chip also includes integrated foldback current protection and reverse current protection.
