DPW 1 BG S-R Knitter-Switch

The DPW1BG S-R part of the Knitter-Switch is a combination of an S-R latch circuit and a NAND gate. The S-R latch is used to store a "state" while the NAND gate is used to control the S-R latch. The S-R latch consists of two transistors and two resistors, with the input of the S-R latch being the combination of the two NAND gate outputs. The output of the S-R latch is determined by the logic signals supplied to the S-R inputs. When the two NAND gate outputs are "high" the S-R latch is set, and when the two outputs are "low" the S-R latch is reset. The S-R latch can then be operated in two ways: as a latch or as a switch. When operating as a latch, the S-R latch will remain in the "set" or "reset" state until the logic signals supplied to the S-R inputs change. When operating as a switch, the S-R latch will switch between the "set" and "reset" states when the logic signals supplied to the S-R inputs change. By using the NAND gate to control the S-R latch, the S-R latch can be used as a control switch for a number of different applications.
