It is a monocoque type structure, formed from a single flat sheet of aluminum alloy. It is used in the form of structural ribs, bulkheads and skins. The KAUS-5-A4 was designed for robustness, light weight and high performance. It is used mainly in light and medium weight aircraft, including but not limited to fighter jets, transport aircraft, agricultural aircraft and other large vehicle designs. It features superior corrosion resistance, superior strength-to-weight ratio, and superior fatigue resistance. It is highly precise and requires skilled installation.
