CS-0305 is a military grade housing and connector from the KSS (Kongsberg Subsea Systems) range. It is a compact and lightweight, waterproof, and pressure resistant design. Made from stainless steel, it is suitable for depths up to 4,000 meters and designed for use in harsh environments such as offshore and subsea applications. It has larger internal volumes than standard-size housings, and has easy-to-assemble inline quick-connects and a two-piece split-ring design. CS-0305 is also robust and corrosion resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures, shocks and pressure. It is designed with a “pin-out” style assembly, where the connector and receptacle parts are pre-assembled before they can be mated and unmated. Its compact design ensures it is suitable for low-volume, “board mount” applications.
