RH-6 is a part of the NASA Aircraft Operations Division (KSS) at the Johnson Space Center. It is responsible for providing oversight and assurance of the safety and performance of NASA spacecraft, payloads, and launch vehicles. It also interacts with other organizations, both government and commercial, regarding key milestones, cost, schedules, and risks for significant space projects. Additionally, Rhino-6 monitors the operation of and inspects spacecraft participating in NASA flights, such as the International Space Station, space shuttle, and other new vehicles.
