The Lapp range of Skintop cable glands are constructed from a tough nylon compound and offer many advantages over conventional brass stuffing glands. They are now used in substantial volumes on panels, switches, control equipment and within the machine tool industry. The New Skintop gland features a unique patented anti-vibration lock. This prevents the cable from coming loose when subject to vibration eg. in electric motors. A specially developed multi entry thread means that installation can be completed up to five times more quickly than conventional glands - requiring only one twist to fix, centre and protect the cable.
